Loma-Paksu offers accommodation in the old main house in rooms of 3-6 persons. The house itself was built by our grandfather farmer Aleksanteri Paksu and other villagers in 1903. Each room of our guesthouse is named after one of our ancestors and has its own distinct style. More space for accommodation may be found in our old granaries and one single room apartment. There is a also huge Lappish hut, a spacious yoga hall and two saunas at your use.
Loma-Paksu offers accommodation in our five rooms for 3-6 persons in the old main building of the Paksu farm. in addition there are two rooms in our ould granaries (for 6 persons and 2 persons) as well as one separate studio flat (for 4 persons). The guesthouse comfortably accommodates a group of 25 persons and extra beds are available for a bigger crowd. The showers are located in a separate building with the sauna.
Facilities at your use: There is a big lappish hut, a spacious yoga hall and two saunas for you to use. You may use the well equipped kitchen for cooking or just enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the communal room. The previous generations are still present in the pictures and stories found on the aged walls of the house.
Additionally: Linen and breakfast, WiFi, parking space and the possibility to plug in your car are all included in the price.
The surroundings: The hill of Paksu is surrounded with a view to the arctic mountains, fields, forests and a lake. This inspiring courtyard is a place for residing, living and recreating. There are both reindeer and husky farms to be found within a walking distance and one can access ski tracks as well as snowmobile routes basically straight from the yard. Furthermore the Levi Center offers a wide variety of activities. The Talliaitta Wellbeing hall, which is also located on the courtyard, enables you to participate on our weekly classes of yoga and shindo.
